Introduction
Endoscopy Associates, LLC is an independent organization owned and operated by the physicians of Associates in Gastroenterology, P.C. Endoscopy Associates operates two gastrointestinal endoscopy facilities used exclusively by our physicians and has consistently received the highest level of accreditation by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), indicating that these facilities have passed a series of rigorous and nationally recognized standards. These facilities allow the physicians to provide endoscopy services (upper endoscopy and colonoscopy) in a personal and patient-focused environment. As a benefit to patients, we work exclusively with board-certified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists to provide deep sedation in an extremely safe and controlled manner. The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Endoscopy Associates have consistently achieved high scores in patient satisfaction surveys.
Both facilities have obtained the most technologically advanced equipment, and they are one of the only endoscopy centers in Prince William County using narrow band imaging as well as high-definition scopes and monitors, allowing for improved detection of malignant and premalignant lesions. Its premalignant polyp detection rate and cecal intubation rate exceed national guidelines.
