Michael C. Brown, M.D.
Dr. Brown grew up in Connecticut. He attended Duke University and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in history. While at Duke, he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. He received his M.D. at the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington in Seattle where he received a Clinical Research Award. He is board certified in gastroenterology. Dr. Brown is Chief of the Gastroenterology Section at Sentara Potomac Hospital, Chief of Endoscopy at Stafford Hospital, and was recognized as one of the region’s top gastroenterologists by Washingtonian Magazine in 2008 and by Northern Virginia Magazine in 2011.
