Dedication to Advancement
Continuing Medical Education
All of our physicians are committed to continued learning in their field of expertise. In order to stay up to date on current research and trends, they each attend at least 60 hours of “Continuing Medical Education” courses (half of which are done exclusively through accredited organizations) biannually. In addition, members of the team monitor activity from the American College of Gastroenterology and American Gastroenterological Association to stay informed.
Associates in Gastroenterology is devoted to its patients and managing their various gastrointestinal (GI) issues. As medicine advances, new technologies are continuously researched and evaluated with our patient base in mind. The team ensures that any new technologies will create a benefit for the patients that cannot be easily attained through alternatives. To ensure we are offering the best for our patients, the high level of technology is matched with a high grade of training.
Going forward, Endoscopy Associates will be benchmarked against several different endoscopy centers by the Accreditation Association for for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC). In order to maintain accreditation through the AAAHC, each center must show dedication to quality improvement both medical respects and in overall patient care.
